Potting mix/compost has enough plant food to last six weeks, after which you would have to liquid feed your bedding plant seedlings weekly.
To avoid this altogether, mix a granular , slow -release fertilizer through the potting mix/ compost. I would recommend Scottīs Osmocote. This excellent product releases plant nutrients slowly over a period of 3 months.
